Product information
The Direct Black Garlic Bolus is a complementary feed for dairy cattle that has been specially developed to keep livestock healthy and resilient. The Black Garlic Bolus promotes the animals' natural defense system and supports the maintenance of good udder health by using the special properties of specific plants and herbs.
The bolus contains black garlic, ginseng and chicory, all of which have unique properties that gives the animals' immune system and udder health a boost.
Black garlic is created when ordinary white garlic undergoes a ripening process, during which a number of important conversions take place in the garlic. Thus, black garlic contains more than 2x as many antioxidants as white garlic and is more absorbable. In addition, it does not have the annoying garlic smell. As a result, it does not affect the smell of milk.
Ginseng, A unique herb that has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for more than 3,000 years. Ginseng boosts the immune system and has an anti-oxidative effect. In addition, it has a natural relaxing effect, which can support the animal in stressful situations.
Chicory is an important source of inulin, a group of dietary fibres that have been shown to have a prebiotic effect. This implies that it promotes intestinal function and good intestinal flora. In addition, inulin strengthens the immune system and encourages the gastrointestinal tract to relax, helping cattle feel better more quickly.
