What is devil’s claw?

Devil’s claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) is a plant that naturally grows in the dry regions of Southern Africa, including Namibia, Botswana and South Africa. The plant gets its name from its distinctive hooked fruits. For generations, devil’s claw has been traditionally used as part of nutrition and care. For use in animal feed, mainly the root of the plant is processed into an extract. Its plant-based origin makes it suitable for feeding strategies that focus on natural ingredients as a supplement to the daily diet.

Feeding instructions
