Where can it be used best? 

Perfect for both indoors and outdoors to slowly feed hay. As it can be filled vertically and suspended, it can hold hay for several days, saving time and labour. Perfectly usable in the stable, box or in the field. Unique because it is easy to close and fill with the flap on top. 

Why use a slowfeeder hay net?
In the wild, horses spend on average twice as much time foraging (searching for food) compared to in a stable. In addition, the horse's gastrointestinal tract is adapted to constantly eating small bits of roughage such as grass or hay. A slow feeder, such as a hay net, makes the horse eat more slowly and thus mimics a more natural eating behaviour. The constant presence of food has also been shown to give the horse less stress than portion feeding, which is still done at many stables.
