Research
A German study shows that 20 per cent of dairy farms have problems with rumen acidosis. The cost of a clinical case is estimated at €400 to €600 per cow. Pensacidosis can result in claw lameness and lameness.

Pensacidosis occurs on every dairy farm. The extent varies from farm to farm. Highly productive cows after calving are especially prone to this condition.
